The objective of this programme is to educate Burmese students on an International Higher Diploma programmes, successful completion of which would allow entry into the final year an appropriate international bachelor degree programme. To enhance the students’ knowledge of the global business environment and its importance to international business.

To appreciate and develop an overview of issues relating to competing effectively in international business.

To provide students with knowledge of International Organisational Behaviour and HRM strategy.

To equip students to proceed to the final year degree programme in International Business or other relevant disciplines in some universities.

The rationale of this course is to produce professionals who are well rounded and competent in Business with a particular orientation towards International Business.

Assessment of the modules includes examinations, assignments, projects, presentations, class tests, and/or practical tests.

Lectures, tutorials and independent learning are employed. To make sure that students have a clear understanding of the concepts, tutorials are used to re-emphasize the key areas.

Independent learning involves pupils taking the initiative in recognizing learning requirements and undertaking activities to meet them.

These activities could take the form of research, tutorial exercises, review questions and coursework.

One Month Student Exchange Program is attached to create your network with international students and gain experiences studying in oversea.

Be eighteen years of age, plus

GCE ‘A’ level or Successfully completed BUC International Founcation Year or equivalent

Have gained an appropriate qualifications in English Language, such as the TEG English Language Level 4 or an IELTS level 6.0 or equivalent.

Applications are welcome from candidates holding other qualifications equivalent to individual modules on the programme.
